Our Facility

We are fortunate to have a wonderful facility at St. Luke’s Hill Nursery School. We utilize three rooms throughout the day with the children in addition to the outdoor playground and a large indoor play area for use in inclement weather.  Our nursery school ensures a safe and supportive environment for your child. Our entrances are secured with a door alarm, and we have a strictly enforced policy for releasing children to parents and guardians. We also have a safety plan for emergency procedures and practice fire drills with the children several times throughout the year.

The Science/Math Room features nature study, animal pet care, sensory experiences, computer use, and science experiments.

Our Reading Room is where perceptual, mathematical, puppetry, and reading oriented and other cognitive developmental activities are offered.

In our Multipurpose Room the focus is on art, music, dramatic play, large motor activities, and cooking. There is plenty of space for individual and group activities.

Built in 2007, our ADA approved, state-of-the-art Playground includes a climber with slides, a rock climbing tunnel, swings, sandbox, see-saw, little school bus, music center, and a picnic activity center. There is also a picnic table nearby.

The Indoor Play Area is a large room we use for play when the weather is too frigid, rainy, or otherwise poor to go outside on the playground
